eba is a firm of ICAEW chartered accountants based at Ground Floor, Rear Barn, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 0SR. We have been here since 2001 and we look after owner managed businesses across Knutsford, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and the wider North West.

Most of our clients are owner managed limited companies turning over somewhere between £250,000 and £10 million. They come from across professional services, construction and trades, e-commerce, manufacturing, property and technology, which is a way of saying we do not specialise by sector. What our clients have in common is that they are going somewhere specific and want an accountant involved in getting there, rather than one who reports on it nine months later.
We also look after the personal tax affairs of the directors behind those companies, because the two are rarely separable in an owner managed business and pretending otherwise produces worse advice.
The office is at Ground Floor, Rear Barn, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 0SR. The Brookdale Centre sits just off the A50 on the edge of Knutsford town centre, with parking on site. It is roughly five minutes from junction 19 of the M6 and ten minutes from junction 7 of the M56, and Knutsford railway station is a short walk away on the Chester to Manchester line.
Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. If you would rather not drive anywhere, meetings run perfectly well by video and plenty of our clients have never been to the building.
Being in Knutsford puts most of Cheshire and south Manchester within half an hour, which is why the client base is concentrated there. It is not a restriction. We work with businesses across the UK, and the practical difference is only whether you want to sit across a table or not.

Insights and Partner cost more because they add reporting, management accounts, forecasting and strategic work, and are quoted on scope after a conversation. Specialist one off work is quoted per engagement. Every fee is agreed before any work starts.
