EBA Group Limited
Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we set on eba-group.co.uk, which of them need your consent, and how you can change or withdraw that consent at any time.
1. About This Policy
This policy explains what cookies are, how EBA Group Limited ("we", "us") uses them on eba-group.co.uk, and how you can control them.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you use it. Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others help us improve our service or show relevant content.
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and UK GDPR, we must get your consent before setting any cookies that are not strictly necessary for the site to function.
3. Cookies We Use
This website sets no cookies at all on any public page. It has no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or remarketing pixels, and no social media tracking. Nothing on this site is watching what you read or building a profile of you, and nothing is stored on your device when you browse it.
There is one internal exception, mentioned for completeness. Our staff dashboard, which is not linked from this site and is not accessible without a password, sets a single session cookie once a member of the team signs in. It is strictly necessary for that sign-in to work, it is limited to that part of the site, and it expires after eight hours. It is never set for a visitor.
That is a deliberate design decision rather than an oversight. The site is built as static files with no visitor tracking, which is why it loads quickly and why there is no consent banner interrupting you.
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
None. The site does not need any cookie to function, so it does not set one.
3.2 Analytics Cookies
None. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service on this website. If that changes we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting anything.
3.3 Marketing Cookies
None. We do not run advertising or remarketing from this website and we do not share visitor data with advertising platforms.
4. Our Forms
Three pages on this site carry a form: our contact page, our referral page, and the enquiry form on our quarterly advisory page. Each is protected against automated spam by Cloudflare Turnstile, which works out whether you are a person by looking at how the browser itself behaves.
Turnstile sets no cookies, gives you no puzzle to solve, and does not track you across other websites. It is the reason this page is shorter than it was. Until recently we used Google reCAPTCHA, which loaded with the page and set Google cookies before you had typed anything. It worked, but it meant this website was no longer cookie-free and it sent information about your device to a company in the United States for no reason you had asked for. We replaced it.
Cloudflare processes the check on our behalf as a data processor. It sees your IP address and technical information about your browser for the moment the check takes, and it is contractually prevented from using any of it for advertising or profiling.
5. How to Control Cookies
5.1 On Our Website
There is no cookie banner on this site because there are no cookies to consent to. Browsing this website, including the pages with forms on them, places nothing on your device.
5.2 In Your Browser
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Be aware that blocking all cookies may affect how the site works. For instructions, visit your browser's help pages:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
5.3 Withdrawing Consent
Because this site sets no analytics or marketing cookies, there is no consent to withdraw. If you have used the contact form and want the reCAPTCHA cookies removed, clear cookies for google.com in your browser. Clearing cookies in your browser at any time will also remove them.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on our website. The "last updated" date at the top of this policy will always reflect the most recent version.
